How are Caregivers selected?
The LivingSenior network looks for individuals that have an interest to help seniors live on their own and do so safely and healthily. Then, each Caregiver is asked to successfully complete a thorough personal and professional reference. Unlike a lot of the other Senior Care networks, we do check every single reference that is given to us to ensure the safety of your elder. We also have the Caregivers take a criminal background check to ensure the safety of each resident or patient. All of our caregivers are also bonded and insured.

How are Caregivers trained?
Caregivers that are employed by the Senior Care network will participate in a senior care training program specifically for and by LivingSenior, this program covers an array of topics and situations that the caregiver may be put in when it comes to providing elderly care.

What happens if my Caregiver gets sick?
This is one of the reasons that LivingSenior uses a team approach. If one of the Caregivers is sick, another is usually available to meet your home care needs.

Do you provide senior services to those in nursing homes or assisted living facilities?
All of the caregivers we employ are there to provide companionship to residents. These residents can be in-home individuals or they can be residents that are living in assisted living or nursing homes. These individuals usually require more attention for their long-term care needs.

What makes LivingSenior different from all the other companies?
As one of the largest and most reliable home care companies, we provide extensive health care provider training as well as Client Caregiver compatibility which sees that the caregiver operates well with the resident. This is very critical considering the caregiver that is selected to stay and help with your loved one will be offering an array of services. It's important that the resident and the caregiver get along in a professional atmosphere. But, it's also important that your loved one stays relaxed and comfortable during this period. We also offer quality assurance and we make sure that every service, action and activity we offer is up to par. LivingSenior lobbies to keep senior care cost-efficient and has the largest number of participants in the National Private Duty Association (NPDA).

Who pays the Caregiver, you or me?
The caregiver is employed by his or her locally, independently owned and operated franchise network, which means the local office handles all the billing, payroll, taxes, insurance and administrative responsibilities for your Caregiver.
